GAC EDUTAINMENT™ PROGRAM:

About GAC EDUTAINMENT

Hip Hop music and culture is more relevant to today's youth than any other art form.

In terms of receptivity, retention and stimulation, multi-sensory learning is a more effective teaching solution than traditional classroom methods.
By combining the latest breakthrough approaches in education with culturally relevant themes, the Global Artists Coalition in 2004 created the first “Edutainment™” platform for young people. Edutainment is a highly effective communication tool that is not only an aid to memory retention but also helps increase a young person's desire for learning.

GAC presents future-building information using themes that are attractive to youth who have not responded well to non-creative approaches. With an MC and a DJ as the facilitator for learning, GAC uses elements from the latest Hip Hop music to present information pivotal to a young persons’ successful transition into adolescence and adulthood. GAC customizes these programs to meet the needs of the Educator, Lesson Planner or Sponsor. Below is a partial list of edutainment program themes:

Economic Literacy/Career

Financial literacy on borrowing money and
using credit responsibly

Business ownership
Renting vs. owning property and Real Estate
"Owning an education” and how it impacts your future
The legacy of inheritance — passing on wealth to future generations

Health/Family

Responsible sexual practices

Taking care of your health
Aids Awareness/Prevention
Taking care of your child’s health
(pre and post-natal)

GAC Edutainment vignettes are performed between youth workshops, conferences and activities, and as stand alone programs to communicate information that is critical to a young person’s adolescent and adult development.
