Hip Hop music and culture is more relevant to today's youth than any other art form.
In terms of receptivity, retention and stimulation, multi-sensory learning is a more effective teaching solution than traditional classroom methods.
By combining the latest breakthrough approaches in education with culturally relevant themes, the Global Artists Coalition in 2004 created the first “Edutainment™” platform for young people. Edutainment is a highly effective communication tool that is not only an aid to memory retention but also helps increase a young person's desire for learning.
GAC presents future-building information using themes that are attractive to youth who have not responded well to non-creative approaches. With an MC and a DJ as the facilitator for learning, GAC uses elements from the latest Hip Hop music to present information pivotal to a young persons’ successful transition into adolescence and adulthood. GAC customizes these programs to meet the needs of the Educator, Lesson Planner or Sponsor. Below is a partial list of edutainment program themes:
